Restoration Services for Tennessee’s Agricultural Sector after a Disaster

In the event of a disaster, the Tennessee Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) Agricultural Sector Restoration Services (ASRS) program is available to assist farmers and agricultural businesses. The program is designed to help farmers and agricultural businesses recover from damages and losses caused by disasters, such as floods, tornadoes, and wildfires.

ASRS provides financial assistance for eligible farmers and agricultural businesses to help cover the costs of repairs, replacement of equipment, and other necessary expenses. Assistance is available for both physical and economic damages.

To be eligible for assistance, farmers and agricultural businesses must have suffered damages or losses due to a disaster that occurred on or after January 1, 2019. In addition, farmers and agricultural businesses must be located in a county that has been declared a disaster area by the Governor of Tennessee.

If you are a farmer or agricultural business owner who has been affected by a disaster, please contact the TDA ASRS program at 1-800-342-8206 or agrestoration@tn.gov for more information about the program and to begin the application process.
